Ginger Tea (Beba’s version)

Ginger root

(Makes about 4-5 cups)

Ingredients:

Water

Milk

Brown Sugar

Ginger

Vanilla

Honey

Instructions:

On a medium Sauce pan pour 3 cups of water

Add * cup of raw ginger (peeled and sliced)

Bring to a boil

Add 1 1/2 cups of **milk, ***2 table spoons of brown sugar, 1 table spoon of honey, ½ a teaspoon of vanilla, a cinnamon stick (or 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon),

Bring milk to a boil while frothing with a whisk

Enjoy!

*Add ginger according to how strong you want it to be

**For a lighter choice, use skim milk or soy milk

***Use sugar to your discretion-you can substitute with Splenda, Agave or any other sugar substitute of your preference
